What could cause a sudden 1/10 Quality Score?

It's seems that I've been Google slapped. All KWs 7-10 QS dropped to 1 overnight. Two days later, my content network ads stopped showing.

I know that this has happened to many people, but what could cause such a thing? In my case I believe my domain somehow got blacklisted. A few details about my campaign:

1) Running since May 2007 without any problems
2) Not an affiliate website
3) Not running any type of scams or rebills. The offer is an eBook (not bizopp) and there are several competing websites running similar offers for my keywords.

As for changes... I started a new Taguchi test the night before (but only on the search landing page - not content which also got slapped 2 days later).

Now, here's a interesting little tidbit: I have a parked domain on top of the one that got slapped. This was far an offline campaign. I was using this parked domain (for over 1 year now) in one of my ad groups. This was the only ad group that still shows with a 10/10 quality score.

I called Adwords and I'm waiting for their response. In the meantime, I'm racking my brains to figure out what the issue may be. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

Oh, by the way, my site still shows in organic.

Looks like the bot finally realized you were advertising an ebook and decided to 'slap' you..

I don't understand why Google would slap ebook sites. There's nothing wrong with ebooks. Most of the books I've bought in the last few years have been the electronic version.

Problem solved...

Thanks for calling in yesterday and letting me know about the sudden
decrease in LPQ that you've seen within your AdWords account. I've
confirmed that your website was not correctly evaluated by our system, and
we've fixed this error. You should see improvements to your Quality Score
soon, reflected by higher Quality Score details for your keywords.

ebooks

Not any eBook, but those like "get rich" type or who knows what else...

Problem solved...

Great to hear that manual review has helped a site to get back on track. This gives hope to many...
