My average CPC has increased by 44% in the last 30 days. Is there a way to find out if my competitors have initiated some kind of a click fraud campaign against me?

How would click fraud result in a CPC increase? If anything, an undetected increase in CTR (if competitors were fraudulently clicking your ads and bypassing Google's filters) would play a role in a higher Quality Score, and thus lower CPCs as a result...

Higher CPCs, to me, is more likely legitimately driven by higher bids, increased competition, or poorer Quality Score.

Yeah, I didn't think that through.

Any type of click fraud would probably focus on your most competitive keywords and could drive up CPC. I think in the long run it would really end up just helping your CTR, resulting in better QS and lower CPC.

Same funny argument... Then why didn't I start clicking my own ads to increase the Quality Score and... lower my CPCs?!
