Hello,

I would like to start learning about how to use adwords properly. I have had really bad results with adwords about 2 years ago.

Would anyone please recommend a course, even a paid course, or something with correct information that works on how to prompte my software products on adwords?

Thanks,
Tomer

P.S. I have medium level experience and success in seo, but no good results with adwords-- ever.

Hello tguez - and welcome to WebmasterWorld.

Below is a copy/paste of my reply to similar question posted earlier this week - as a place to start anyway. These are all free resources provided Online, by AdWords.

==============================

[...] here are a few resource that I think are worth knowing about and exploring, as you come up to speed with AdWords:

AdWords Help Center
[adwords.google.com...]

AdWords Learning Center - text and multimedia lessons
[adwords.google.com...]

New AdWords Interface - resources
[google.com...]

Google Business Channel - on YouTube - many videos on succeeding with AdWords
[youtube.com...]

Finally, a very useful overview (my opinion, of course) of tips may be found on the page linked to just below. Its one of my favorite resources on how to think about AdWords, and how set up an AdWords account for success:

Tips for success
[adwords.google.com...]

The topics covered on this page - which I think are essential to using AdWords effectively:

1. Identify your advertising goals.
2. Organize your account for maximum effectiveness.
3. Choose relevant keywords and placements.
4. Create straightforward, targeted ads.
5. Optimize your website for conversions.
6. Track your account performance.
7. Test and modify your campaigns to get the results you want.
