Okay, so who is actually happy with the new interface?

There are several threads with complaints about the new AdWords interface, but I haven't seen much praise about it from non-Googlers.

I assume there are at least some people out there that actually prefer the new interface, though...? Anyone here in that boat? What did you dislike about the old interface? What's your favorite feature in the new interface?

Let's have a little love-in for a change. :-p

Some of the things I like:

- the ability to view the search terms without having to run the search query report. You can quickly add new keywords and/or negatives.
- the opportunities tab can provide some new insights (may still be in beta)
- I actually like the new navigation on the left, which can be hidden if you don't want to use it.

Don't like:
-Now you can only view network traffic segments at the ad group level. Used to be able to see this at the keyword level.

I'm sure there are other likes and dislikes for me, but this is all I can think of for now.

I like being able to see the low search volume keywords, and pending statuses on the ads. I like the spreadsheet edit. I *really* like seeing the placements without having to go into reports.

I like the new interface way better than the old one, it's set up much more like adwords editor. First, the sidebar lets you easily jump from adgroup to adgroup even if they are in different campaigns. Second, you can see all keywords/ads in a campaign or in the whole account. When you want to compare all your keywords, or scan through all ads to check for stuff, this is really helpful. it's also easy to overiew the settings of campaigns and adgroups, something that use to be a pain in the ass. The graphs allow you to see the day to day changes at a glance - so much info is lost when you just get an average number for a time period.

The only thing that's bothering me is that I can't find the tools anymore on one of the accounts I'm managing? Other than that I consider this a definite improvement. there are some bugs, but IMO it's something I'm willing to temporarily accept when moving to a more advanced system.

I was really surprised to hear that there are still ppl who are not using adwords editor - I wonder if these people have a harder time getting used to the new interface?

Search queries in the interface makes things so much easier.

Adding keywords and adding negative keywords while looking at search queries is nice.

Some of the changes that were made to editing are good as well

It's gotten me to use the Adwords Editor which is much better for editing ads.

I wish you could view the graphs and associated data at the keyword level, not just the ad group level.

Many thanks for starting this thread, Rehan.

I've already sent this feedback along to the new UI team (What a new concept! Postive feedback!) and will also include verbatim quotes and the link to the entire thread in Thursday's Advertiser Feedback Report.

I've also been passing along the not-so-positive comments as well, of course. And will continue to do so.
