Hello,

We are looking to better target Google Content advertising. We've found that we get the best results when we target specific URLs & match to specific content -- something that the Google Add Site/Suggest Site doesn't do as good a job of as searching google for contents of a site we know is part of Adsense.

Does anyone know of a way to search adsense publisher sites using Google or another search engine? Since Adsense ads are embedded in Javascript it doesn't seem to be easy to do.. Back when they displayed text "Ads by Goooogle" you could do it, but I can't figure out how to do it now.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

When adding a site (Networks tab, Add Placements button), there is a "Try the placement tool" link next to the edit box. Clicking on it brings up a window. Select "Describe topics" and type in a keyword that describes the type of site you want to target. You will get 100. It just a matter of opening them to check if you really want to target that site.

You might want to take a look at the Google Ad Planner [google.com]

I've found it pretty useful in finding sites to target on the Content Network - even tells what sizes and types of AdSense they're running.
