Ok, in my newbieness I have goofed up and want to make some changes, how can I reset the quality score of some keywords that have gone really low?

Do I just need to create a new ad and delete the old ones, do I also need to delete the keywords and re-add them (which I will be optimizing),

or do I need to delete the entire ad group and possibly campaign?

I started out at about 7 and am now down to about 3 and need to make some changes. Please help!

Yes, create new ads with higher CTR. Don't delete old ads, pause them and don't edit an ad, pause it. You never know if you'll need that ad again. Same with keywords, don't delete them. No need to pause or delete entire groups or campaigns.

Ideally you would want to pause the entire group and start a fresh group with brand new keywords and creative to start of with a fresh QS.

You can pause the other group and leave it in the account for your own future reference.

The only problem is it seems that a quality score is given to a domain and the history of the account, blast it!

So I guess maybe it is impossible to reset at all.

Quality score is calculated for the keyword and ad. I don't know where this score for a domain and account history came from but those are not factors.
