Images Appearing In Adwords (not content network)

Noticed something today that I haven't seen before:

I searched for 'digital cameras' on Google.co.uk (from the Web) and Adwords is showing 5 images of cameras, with prices and a descriptive line / link underneath each one for a well known UK retailer. Seriously, 6 links in total for this one ad, and 5 photos - their CTR must be going through the roof today.

Does anyone know if this is a test?

I've emailed one of my adwords account reps and if I get an answer I'll post back...

Please keep us informed of what feedback you receive. I am also noticing this today. Five images on the 3rd advertisers adwords block. If that's the case I'm now bidding for 3rd position! I wonder if this has something to do with the Google Checkout badge as well as the advertiser I see is utilizing Google Checkout as well. What adwords block/positions do you see the images in?

Also third position, but no Google Checkout badge - no word from adwords yet - I'll post back when I do.

What was the product you saw the ad under? Was it a large brand too?

This is a test Google is doing. Those AdWords customers who can link their Google Base accounts may show product pictures and pricing in the AdWords results. It has been going on for a while now.

ah, thanks rusty - just looked this up - unfortunately no joy for me as I'm in the UK and not invited yet...
