To avoid all related issues, we decided to move to a new brand and a new account altogether. Created a new website, and a new account with different credit card info and company name (does it matter though..generally?can you have 2 accounts for different products with the same credit card info and the company name?).
The landing page used for this account is very similar to the one used for the previous account in terms of the layout and the content on the page. It has some references of the previous account's brand at the bottom of the page (it is an established brand name).
So, we activated some very relevant exact match terms in the new account and paused all related keywords in the old account so that it does not look like we're double-serving. We wanted to test this with a few keywords first before we could move all campaigns to the new account.
All keywords here are down with quality scores of 1 due to poor landing page (that's what the message reads when you hover over the keywords). The same keywords had a quality score of 7 and even 10, in some cases in the previous account. Both landing pages are very similar (both are stand-alone pages). So what do you think is the issue here and how can this be fixed?
All mails to Google have been of no use as we only receive very standard replies with all the links and everything (I'm sure everyone here is aware of what I'm talking about).
So, what is the fix here? Any ideas?
I've continued this post here. And I'm sure you've gone through it too.
Thanks again netmeg!
