Hi. I was playing around with the keyword-tool, typing in the name of a company which sells products which are not seasonal. I found that the searchvolume in June was about 15 times less then the average searchvolume. I then tried to input some big players:
Google: June: 24.900.000 Average: 338.000.000
Yahoo: June: 11.100.000 Average: 414.000.000
General Motors (which should be in the news): June: 74.000 Average: 1.000.000
Any idea why this is so different? Or are the numbers just useless?

Look closely. The June numbers are for local searches. That is, local to the region(s) you selected, USA for example. The average is a global monthly average. Given the keywords you used, I'm not surprised.
