I spent several hours re-installing Gaoogle Analytics on an existing site to having removed the old urchin code and generated a new account for the site.
Gone back into Analytics tonight and not account matching the number exists.
I have search everywhere just in case I am having a mad 5 minutes but it seems to have vanished.
Anyone any suggestions apart from starting again.
I was managing a client account which I gave myself access to using 'Access to Profile', and somehow we both lost access to it. Google said this was not possible! But I'm sure I ended up having to start over again.
Are you sure you are looking in the correct account?
Trying creating another web profile just to see if it skips a number in the tracker code.
Get a pad and pen, and write out all the website profile names against their tracking codes just to be sure.
