Credit card declines everytime

When i enter the credit cards details to the adwords account, it gets accepted and the ad start running. However, after few days, i see that the card is not showing as valid. The billing preferences page shows a retry card button. As a result the ads also stops running.

I do not see any payment request/ declined in the billing summary page. The green Valid is also missing.

This problem has been happening for quite some time now. Everytime we update the card details this same problem also comes up.

Also, the card details of some of the other clients under this same MCC account is showing up the same problem, i.e. the green valid is missing and the billing prefernces page is asking to retry the card.

I really cannot figure out why is this happening. How is it possible that even after updating the account with new card details, the Adwords system does not show it as valid. And even if it Validates the card, they ask me to retry the card after few weeks.

The Adwords support is not helpful at all as i do not get reply to my mails.

It will be very helpful if anybody can suggest what to do.

I've had similar experiences. Google support on this is pretty poor. Google's payment interface could do with some updating.

I recommend having a chat with your credit card company. See if any payment requests has actually been made, and if so, they may know why it failed.

Google doesn’t like some types of credit cards. What I found frustrating is that Google could only refer me to a page that just says recheck your payment entry details.

I think Google could probably boost their revenue by 10% just by giving a little help in this area.
