I know that you can target specific directories within one whole website. However, does adwords let you target just one page, like one .html page for example?

For example: website.com

You can target website.com, or website.com/directory

Can you also target website.com/page.html?

Yes. But for some reason there is no way to know which pages are available to do this on. It's kind of a throw it up and see what sticks type of deal. Also, you need to add placements using adwords editor because the placement tool doesn't work for individual sites.

I hope that helps.

Thank you for the info. So even though it lets you add the single page placement using the placement tool, it will actually not work unless you add it using the "Add Placements" tool?

I haven't been able to add individual pages using the "Add Placements Tool" so that is news to me. Are you using the new online console? My guess is that if the "Add Placements Tool" allows you to add the single pages that they will most likely run. However, if you add them using Adwords Editor you will get some that run and some that don't. But, I haven't been able to get any single pages to even allow me to include them in a campaign using the "Add Placements Tool" so I gave up on it. Granted this was using the old console.
