New adwords interface is very slow

It just took almost a minute to edit the heading on an advert. If the loading times don't go back to how quick they were in the old interface then I'm going to cry.

Anyone else seeing this? Any guesses as to how long it's going to be until they sort it out?

This seems to be the biggest complaint about the new interface. Personally, I haven't noticed any speed problems. In fact, to me it seems faster.

What browser do you use for AdWords?

I was using IE7.

It is also missing features from the old interface. Important ones, such as being able to edit the keywords in a text box. I like to edit the keywords in notepad and upload them in one go, but it doesn't look like I can do that anymore.

Very slow and it looks like they are trying to copy the MSN AdCenter design, which is a bad move because that one isn't great either!

Try using Google Chrome and see if that increases the speed. The Application Shortcut feature is pretty handy if you spend a lot of time on AdWords:

PCInk, I noticed that feature is missing as well. I normally use AdWords Editor when I'm making batch changes, but that's obviously a personal preference. But if you make all of your changes in notepad, it probably doesn't matter what the interface looks like.

Excellent, the feature is still is in AdWords Editor! Thanks patrickSMC. Sometimes I know I want to delete keywords for two weeks on Friday. If I can delete them from the notepad list over the few weeks, it's much easier than deleting them in the interface on the actual day.
