Is there a way to see which search terms your ad appeared for?

I would like see all the search terms that my broad match ads appeared for on the search network (not just the search terms that resulted in actual clicks).

This would be useful so that I could add in "negative keywords" and create more targeted campaigns.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks

If I understand what you're asking, yes there is. The only I know of is if you're using the new interface. Make sure you're on the keywords tab (at the campaign or ad group level) then click "see search terms" then "all" that should show you what you want.
Hopefully that answers your question. There's definitely smarter people around here than me.

John, what you're describing is basically the "Search Query Report," which the new user interface has integrated the report directly into the ad group view. (You can also access these reports from My Report Center.)

But those reports are only for search queries that resulted in a click through on your ad.

TravelSite wants to see all keyword searches that resulted in an impression, not a click through. As far as I know, there is no way to get that data for impressions.

TravelSite, are you familiar with the detailed keywords filter for analytics? That may be of some help if you feel like you're not getting enough from the Search query report.

BTW, what does it mean when the term "Added" is tacked on to the end of keyword in the "Search Query Report"?

I took it to mean that you are already bidding on the term. You might want to double check that.

Ok, that make sense, thanks. It is a little strange the way they merge that text on the end of each existing keyword in the query column. It would be more obvious if they put that info in a separate report column and even better if those that one has not already bid on have a link to add it.
