I saw related sites with Adsense on them, but google won't let me put them in to my placements campaign.
Why is that so ?

Also, is there an easy way to know if a site has Adesnse in it ?

Thnx!

Sometimes the system doesn't allow the URL to go in from the setup wizard, but if you create a live placement account and go to the edit sites function and then add in the URLs you want to advertise on it will accept them there.

Its a bug in Google's system but this is the work around.

Hi Blue_widget, and welcome to WebmasterWorld. ;)

I saw related sites with Adsense on them, but google won't let me put them in to my placements campaign.
Why is that so ?

I think the most common reason for this is that not all AdSense publishers choose to allow their site to be placement targeted.

Put another way - all AdSense publishers agree to show AdWords ads on their site, in a general sense. However not all AdSense Publishers want to allow explicit targeting of their site in particular by individual advertisers.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks a lot!

Is there a fast way of knowing if a site allows placement targeting or not ?
