If I pick a keyword that only has a couple of ads listed for it. Can I use this keyword and get listed on the 1st page with my click price set at .05 even if the other two or so ads that show up are bidding up to $1.00+ per click? I hope that makes sense I am pretty sure this is how it used to be for all my ads but over the last month I'm not seeing very many of my ads showing up when I search for certain keywords... And yes I have my daily limit over $1000.00 plus I read all of google's suggestions and all related posts in this forum... I even emailed them with not much of any luck. Any ideas?

We have most of our ads set at 5¢ and most get impressions every day - even those in competitive terms. With the new changes over the last couple of weeks there may have been a change however I don't think so. It may be some other reason your ads are not showing.

As an experiment why not try increasing the CPC and see if they suddenly show up.

It also may have to do with filtering on some of the partner sites depending on what field you are in.

That's exactly the way that I would interpret it, oneshot - if there are only two advertisers using kw's that I want to target, then min bid at least guarantees me 3rd... & every keyword I use is set at min bid...

Oneshot, your ads should certainly show, based on the way you described things.

Really, this is probably a question for AdWords support, as they can look to see what other issues may be at work.

It caught my eye when you said:

I even emailed them with not much of any luck.

This seems to imply that you got some sort of answer - did it not make sense, or did it not really answer your question? You may wish to reply to the email and re-frame your question. Sometimes asking the same question in a different way will help the support person know what you are really looking for.

Having answered about a zillion support emails in my time, I have to say that advertisers often are not clear in their emails. The most common 'mistake'? Writing from an account with 20 campaigns, and 75 Ad Groups, and saying 'My ads are not showing' - but neglecting to mention which ads, in which campaigns and in which Ad Groups? And for what keywords in particular?

(BTW, the issue at work in your situation could be as simple as 'sensitive' keywords, which have not yet been reviewed.)

Best o' luck!
