This is something I haven't seen before. I was setting up a new campaign for a client and noticed on a specific search that a couple of the results had titles that were longer than the 25 character limit.

Has anyone else seen this? If so, have you been able to determine what causes it?

Since the system won't let you input a title over 25 characters I can only assume it is done through dynamic keyword insertion, but I've still never seen it happen until just today.

In this particular case, the ad title exactly matched the search query, which was 27 characters long.

I saw this a few days ago with an ad that had a title with 26 characters. When I searched for the ad using [google.com...] it always appeared with only 25 characters, so I think this one was also because of DKI.

I don't know whether it's a bug in DKI, or a "feature" that Google was testing on a limited basis, or some kind of trick with special characters...didn't really matter enough for me to investigate.
