Is that too low or normal?

ahh well.. how high is a tree?

Not trying to be funny or anything but a thousand factors can effect CTR.

Yes, that sounds low to me. The trick is to find out why it's low...

LOL... exactly!

But, I'd guess you're opted in to the Content Network... which is a biggie of the thousand factors.

Very low, even for Content.

However it is relative as others have pointed out. Still too low for me.

How do you figure? For the very same reason that it's impossible to decipher whether a certain CTR in a vacuum is low, high or normal - it's also impossible to decipher the quality of an account from only this stat. I manage Content campaigns of all types... for some themes, campaigns can work wonderfully at CTRs at the stated level - and even lower.

My price per click is 0.01 since I am just a beginner. Is it still considered low for that price?

What price is suitable?

Your bid is factored into your ad ranking, which influences your click-through rate.

So even if your quality score is okay, a low bid will cause your ad to show up lower on the list, which will result in a low CTR.

Raise your bid to $.05 or more and work on improving the match between your keyword group, text ad, and landing page.

remove yourself from the content network and watch it go up.
