Why do different browsers show different adwords results?

It's somewhat annoying when you're trying to see your ad placement, to see different results from different browsers.
I've cleared cookies from both browsers, and still get different results for ads when I use ie as compared to firefox. Why does this happen? Why would they show a different lineup of ads to different browsers?

Positions are all screwed up this weekend is the answer. Google is messing around with things they shouldn't be messing with - offering no apology when their programming is wrong either or credits. AWA, why all the back end programming mistakes as of late? How about some transparency or apologies in 2009.
