My account was overdelivery of 21 times. Any one answer?

Hai,

Today (20.12.2008) morning i was started one campaign of daily budget Rs.100/- (Indian Rupees). and started the campaign. After one hour when i was checked the campaign status, i was shocked. They served the ad for Rs.2183.88/- at 5305 impression and 1308 clicks. around 21 times above.

But my daily budget was Rs.100 only. Is google charge for the actual click Rs.2183.88 or Rs.100/- of my daily budget.

Please anyone reply.

are you sure the time period wasnt set to all time?

"On any single day, the AdWords system may deliver up to 20% more ads than your daily budget calls for. This helps make up for other days in which your daily budget is not reached. However, our system makes sure that in a given billing period, you're never charged more than the number of days in that billing period times your daily budget. For example, if you budget US$10 per day, and you're charged for a 30-day billing period, the maximum you would pay is US$300."

So you may get charged for it since it is below your monthly budget but you should not get charged more than 31 days x Rs. 100 for the month. Generally they are pretty good about not going over 20% per day so that is a little odd to go over it by that much. Maybe it was done to catch you up for all the previous days in the month you did not have the ad running.
