I normally make sure I've posted all changes before updating, but today I didn't.
When it asks if you want to backup, why the hell back up the existing account? If I want them I can download them from AdWords!
This has really got to me. GOOGLE - Sort it out. I spoke to one of your staff, who sent me a nice document on how to get the backup files saying -
"It isn't possible to retrieve comments and unposted changes for an account once you've downloaded it. We apologize for this inconvenience."
GREAT! Thanks a million - You could have told me before updating that it was a useless backup.
That's me feeling a bit better, and maybe someone will read this and fix the problem.
edit: I just found out how to save all unposted changes. A bit late, but it would have been nice to get pointed to this doc before updating.....
briggidere, I saw your post in the other thread before I saw this one, and already responded there.
I do sincerely apologize. I hate hearing this stuff, and will make sure that the AE team sees this thread.
