We have a third party marketing company maintaining our Adwords account right now. Soon we will be moving away from said organization and will want to take control of the Adwords account. What is the best way to do this subtly (I only have report access at this time) and will an email sent to Adwords Support alert the account holders in any way?

Thanks

Did they create the AdWords account for you and give you reports access?

If they created the account on your behalf, your in a tricky situation as they have the control over the account.

What you could do is run a full keyword report for all time and this will give you the base information for building your own campaigns in a NEW account. It's not the ideal situation, but it'll probably be the easiest thing to do.

Just make sure you export the report so you can save it locally as once you speak to the 3rd party they may remove your access completely.
