Stabilize the Quality Score?

Hello,

Sometimes we see our QS of a popular keyword in the adgroup (which brings the most impressions and which has the most advertiser competition level) changes. It usually 7 over 10 but sometimes it becomes 9 over 10. And then it turns back to 7 over 10 again. It goes like this.

The reason why the QS fluctuates is the advertiser competition, a dynamic system with the auction, right? So my question is can we stabilize this QS at some point? If yes, what's your suggestion? Please don't tell me optimize or something like that because the campaign has been already optimized and still it is.

Thanks.

"So my question is can we stabilize this QS"

As you mention, the QS thing is Dynamic.. so you can't really stabilize it.

When big G changes the variables or the weights of the variables, it fluctuates.. and I understand that they do this quite often.

I don't believe QS has to do with level of competition, except insofar as it might affect your own CTR. I have some keywords that are rock solid at 9/10 (previously "great") and others that fluctuate one or two points eight or ten times a day - I'm assuming those are on the fence, and as calculations change dynamically, the QS goes one way or the other as the day progresses.

So all you have control over, really, is your own optimization - and if you think you've done everything you can, then you better get used to the roller coaster. Personally, I don't think there is such a thing as a perfectly optimized campaign, and there's *always* going to be something I can be doing better. That's why you test, and try new things. And test more.

yeah you're right. we should test new things to be better or to keep the best point. Thanks for your replies.
