Historically, we’ve always had such threads for suggestion type of posts only, not for discussions, especially disturbing ones.
Just a minute ago, I saw some and would like to suggest that we maintain that specific thread as what was created for, SUGGESTIONS, while using separate threads for DISCUSSIONS, COMMENTS, and (maybe) JOKES.

The whole idea is that someone from Google AdWords (like AWA), can “visit”, copy/paste/iron, and send to AdWords’ development team. They don’t need “junk” stuff that makes their job harder, simple as that.

Not too hard to grasp, ha? ;)

I like your thinking! It would be great to have the ability to tag or label threads or even individual comments with the above descriptions you mentioned (and others) so that it makes it easier for everyone to follow and quickly sift through threads.

Would also be cool to have some sort of voting/rating system for threads and comments so that better quality information would be more prominently displayed. Or perhaps allow for easier segmentation and querying. Ie. sorting by most popular. So combining these two features would allow someone like Adwords Advisor (AWA) to quickly sort by "most popular questions" to see where the action is and get to the burning issues a lot of people are interested in.

Does anyone know where we can submit feature requests to the nice people at webmasterworld?

I think there's a community forum where you can make suggestions, but WebmasterWorld has been rolling along like it is for a long time now, I don't think changes like that likely to happen. There are a lot of other forums here besides AdWords, and anything done to the software would necessarily affect all the others as well.

I wouldn't get too worried about the AdWords Features item. AWA does a bang up job of keeping track of it, and even when it veers off occasionally, it's always brought back to topic right quick (cause one of us is always bitching about something, ork ork)

Personally, I'm more in favor of letting things flow naturally and organic-like, rather than overly structured.

Many thanks for your concern, smallcompany.

I noticed the same thing, let it stop me for about 20 seconds, and then got on with the important mission of copy/pasting the actual feedback. :) So it's not really a concern to me, especially since it almost never happens, which is pretty cool.

I really appreciate you wanting to keep things on-topic, though.

Thanks for that, netmeg. It is my pleasure.

Truth be told, this is pretty much where I land too. I have always admired how WebmasterWorld handles things - and, maybe since it was the first forum on which I started posting years ago, I think of WebmasterWorld as being 'The Standard'.
