Problem with AdWords support slow response times

Is anyone else getting killed by slow AdWords response?

We are getting clobbered by a competitors trademark violation (essentially a spoof ad). AdWords support, courteous and diplomatic to a fault, has informed me that they will definitely take action against the offending competitor, but due to a "heavy workload" in their Trademarks group it may take up to 2 MONTHS to act on it.

Is anyone else seeing this kind of delay?

Have you tried writing to the competitor in question directly?

perhaps adwords team would respond faster if your lawyers were to write to them via old fashioned "registered" snail mail ..

I agree with Leosghost and La_Valette both: a good ol' cease-and-desist on attorney letterhead sent to the competitor might get faster results. Works for us...

Oh yeah, we've done our due dilligence on that side of things. Our attorneys have sent C & D letters to both Google Legal and the competitor. Adwords basically sez that any legal/money issues are up to us and lawyers.

They say they will enforce their rules, they just aren't saying exactly when (It's been two weeks so far).
