managing a few adwords accounts for clients

What is the best way to go about managing clients adwords accounts if you have multiple? All different domains -- and similar keywords. I see that some are competing.

You should get yourself an MCC to link them all in. Write to support and ask them.

As far as the competition thing, I can't help you there - I don't take on clients that compete with each other; too easy for conflict of interest situations to arise.
