Linking Adwords & Analytics

Any way to keep historical data?

From reading through some other threads it would appear we have encountered the same dilemma as others when it comes to linking Google Adwords accounts organized in a “My client Center”, (MCC) to a single pre-existing Google Analytics account which has mulitple domains setup in the maximum 50 profile slots.

We have emailed back and forth with AdWords support and they just suggest starting fresh with setting up new Analytics accounts per AdWords, 1 to 1. Google Help pages reference "Linking accounts - We recommend that each My Client Center (MCC) child account has its own Google Analytics account."

We understand we can keep the old multi-profiled Analytics for our records but we would have to create new Analytics accounts that would have no historical data.

But, we would prefer to look at the data as a whole instead of over multiple accounts, especial since we have Goal Conversion data dating back to Jan 2008!

So, does anybody have a fix, or know of a paid service that can cut up /
transfer / link a single Analytics Account with multiple profiles (housing separate domains) to separate Adword Accounts?

I have not found a fix and had to start 2 clients from scratch...
