New 'more sponsored listings' layout

I just clicked on 'more sponsored listings' for a term and got a new format. Rather than the normal 1 column format with 10 ads and then pagination links (page 1, page 2,...) instead I get a large page with three columns of ads.

Is this new? If so, I prefer it.

Last week at SES, I asked Fred Vallaeys about the Sponsored Links Search and he said it's basically their playground, so don't really rely on it for much.

I don't mechanically anyway. But I watch the PPC players and the new layout makes it easier for that. ANd it's easier to kind of view all the options when I'm looking to buy something as well.

Hey, wait a minute. That's just the Cuil layout isn't it? :).
