Goal tracking, adwords, analytics or server side

Basically I need some way to track goals and the campaign, ad group, ad, ad variation and keyword from which the visitors came.

I am having doubts between adwords, analytics or a server side solution.

The difficulty is as follows:
The value of the goal differs depending on the situation.
I believe this leaves me with either a server side solution or the ecommerce solution within analytics.

Is it even possible to infer the campaign etc on the landing page? How does google analytics do this?

What are you recommendation for tracking goals?

well i've seen flaws from both the ways using adwords conversion code as well using goals tracking method through analytics,,
I wud, personally, suggest you to use your own scripts installed at your server to track down the conversions as well as the root of conversion.
