Starting now, after 2 years waiting

Ok, it's time now. My web has reached a point in which I earn a very decent amount of money every month from a few different sources. Now I can afford to invest some money advertising with adwords.

The thing is that I'm completely lost. I've only used adwords once with a 50€ promotion code and I was as lost as I am right now. I hate to sound like a newbie, but well, in this case I am a newbie.

I'm using AdSense in basically all the pages of my site, and I'm afraid of using adwords to advertise any page with adsense on it because I dont want google to think Im doing arbitrage. What do you recommend in this case?

So, could you guys point in the right direction? I've already been reading some posts here in the adwords forum , and I will continue doing that, but where else can I learn about it?

In average, what percentage of your income do you spend in adwords?
Whats the best way to chose keywords?

More tips? ;)

Yeah, seems like that's the only way to go, there are no shortcuts. It was the same with AdSense, I started a couple of years ago reading, reading and reading. Now I earn more than what I expected in the beginning.

Still, do you think there could be some troubles if I use AdWords and AdSense? I dont want to do arbitrage.

It's a good idea not to send adwords traffic directly to a page with adsense. Other people may have had ok experiences with this, I never have.

Send adwords traffic direct to sales pages. Don't mix the two and there can't be a problem.
