I'm looking at a client that could really use this and before experimenting with their bucks, I'd like to do some intelligence gathering.
I'll know more in a couple of days and post here - in the meantime, please speak up if you have any good or bad experience with Saleforce.com.

I've used both Salesforce.com and the Salesforce for Google AdWords integration for my own company, as well as a number of my clients, and I love it.
It is easy to set up, provides some nice out-of-the-box reporting and dashboards (which, by the way, I think you client would love the easy to read/understand insight), and at its core, provides key performance data for your search programs.
It clearly ties in the search campaigns, ads, and keywords to leads and resulting pipeline and revenue. Before the integration, I was doing a lot of this stuff manually by passing keyword and campaign info into a custom field via variables in the related ad's destination URL. It worked OK, but I missed out on a lot of other info that the integration picks up. Now I have a clear view into the performing/non-performing keywords/campaigns through the reporting that can be done on the data collected.
Also, you get an added "bonus" of gaining insight into your non-paid search and any referrals. It tracks if a lead came in from Yahoo, Ask, MSN, etc or the referral site, along the related search phrases.
