My ads are still showing for expensive keywords(on the preview page anyway) even though the daily budget has been almost used up (all but a few cents).
I also see that the impressions are increasing even though the ads should be offline.
If the daily budget has not been used up the days before does it get passed on to the current day?

AdWords says they may display up to 20% more ads than your daily budget is set for in order to compensate for other days where your daily budget wasn't reached.

If they overserve they'll credit you, but generally, they go by the monthly budget rather than the daily.
