Ads inactive at minimum bid

Very Perplexing

I am setting up an Account for a realtor and my intention was to bid on keywords at minimum bid then gradually increase them till the desired position is achieved.

The problem is I can't find the ads showing for ANY KEYWORDS! Even phrases such as 'Kihei homes for sale' and 'Wailea homes for sale' which have a minimum bid of 50c and are definitely not too 'low volume' to show.

Can anyone give me a hint?

P.S. I have been talking to Adwords customer support about other keywords not showing because of being 'low volume' but this seems ridiculous. For instance why would 'kihei bed & breakfasts' not bring up my Kihei Bed & Breakfast ad just because it is not searched on very often. This just doesn't make sense to me. Has Google lost it?

Well, I just found out that the campaign has probably not been activated because of the bank account verification (this is new to me since setting up my own account).

Still, what I said in my P.S. still stands. I can see why some small businesses are giving up on Adwords.

plus when you bid the min bid only, the frequency of displaying your ads will be a lot less as well, and over time your QS will drop, and they will inactivate the whole thing. Adwords wants you to launch at levels above the min bids, and once the account stabilizes, then you can bid it down..

And approximately how long does it take for an account to stabilize?
