Accepting Ad Payments - How?

We are starting to work wtih client's who want to manage ads on their sites. We have used OpenX but found it a bit cumbersome and there is no way to accept payments.

I have toured Google Ad Manger and do not see a way to allow the content provider to "sign up" advertisers and accept payment.

Do most content advertisers utilize a separate payment system from their ad management?

Thanks!

I think the Ad Manager is an "Advertiser" tool and not a "Publisher" tool. It is meant to research publishers which fit the demographics, audience size, etc. for the advertiser. Not for the publisher to manage his own site's advertisers.

I've used ad servers in the past, but none that have been able to accept payment, and manage the serving of ads on the site.

Sorry - I confused the Ad Manager tool with the Ad Planner tool. Manager for publisher, Planner for advertisers.

I'm still not aware of a "self-service" signup/ad server for publisher that accepts payments.
