Hi to all,

I have a product which is in very specific, hi-end niche. The product speaks of itself, it has many reviews and respect in the market. We are positioning this product in a similar niche websites through advertisements. Starting from now, I decided to run adwords for the product. There are only 2 products listed on eshop and some information to read on about the technology, presentations and press reviews.

I was able to grasp some similar keywords with KW Elite program and WT. The problem is that WT gives me kw list that has very low volume of searches.
I was able to build around 1K kw and ran google adwords for a couple of days - some keywords had impressions but most of them didn't. I got 10 clicks for two campaigns and about 1K keywords.

What do you suggest to do? I am thinking - is it possible to advertise ANYTHING? if the niche is so specific, how do you choose kw? I know that if we have impressions but no clicks, CTR goes down.
What do you suggest to do?

Thanks

I've had similar problems with PPC for higher cost, niche items. Either you get no clicks on the long tail keywords, or burn up your budget on general keywords that don't convert.

Middle ground, it doesn't seem to exist.

I've had some success forgetting about PPC and going the SEO route, plus finding (or building) relevant sites to put non-PPC ads on.

So that means, if you sell some special custom things, it's very complex to find great KW for PPC? What about non-mass products?
Your answer makes me think that non-mass products (like custom made things) have no chance going PPC...am I right?
What do others think? Please give me some more advices.

To be more specific: the niche I was talking about - high end audio cables.
