I think it was last month WW threads popped up regarding Google's drop of adverts under terms such as "link building". That block seems to still be in play (although "link building services" still shows ads) but it appears that they are now pricing out these adverts by raising the minimum bids by increasing the "quality level" required.
Clever move really. They either simply make a hell of a lot more money or put a lot of link builders (their arch enemy) out of work.
