A scam no doubt but what is it

I guess I can't post the site but in searching for affiliate marketing tips I ran into a blog what was of course promoting this site that was of course giving a pitch for some "secret" to get google ads for free. It's that typical sales pitch letter and they tell you just enough to get you to pay the $67 and of course you have to hurry because the offer is ending soon.

All they said on the website is that you place the ad and make your daily limit like $10k and your CPC $100 so your guaranteed #1 spot but then the "secret" will show you how to not pay anything for it. Something that is 100% legit and legal.

So what is the scam as I'm not about to give these shysters $67 just to download another useless ebook

Yes! Whatever it takes to get #1 position for your keywords EVERY time. The "secret" will show you how to not pay anything for those ads. I know it's a scam or some BS just to get you to buy their ebook which is probably just typical junk. Just wondering how they weasel thier way out of the promise of a "secret" if you just buy their ebook.

I never bought it but I've heard about it and I've heard from someone on-line who has bought it who said that the whole deal is about getting "ranked in the search engines"! Thus your "ad" is "free" because it's in the search results as opposed to the paid results. In other words the book is about SEO and how you can get ranked in the search engines. It's not really anyhing to do with Adwords itself, but for those who may use Adwords it tells how to use SEO to get their site in the free search results. There isn't anything on SEO you couldn't find for "free" on the internet or by buying a good book on the subject. So if you were planning on buying it I just saved you a waste of time and money.

Well they should be shut down for being scam artists then. Blacklisted at the very least. Now that you mention it about just doing SEO techniques I can see how they have walked that fine line between misleading and outright lying. They mislead in that they imply without a doubt that you are using paid Google ads but now that I think about it, they never actually say you will use "adwords" to get free ads. They totally mislead though because they go thru the whole process of signing up for adwords and setting up an ad at $100 per click and $10,000 per day then say don't worry, you won't spend a dime.
