Does using this cause a delay in ad approvals?

I created about 25 new ad groups. I uploaded them with AdWords Editor, and they were running 5 minutes later.

I then uploaded another batch of 25 ad groups about a 1/2 hour later.

These ads have been posted for going on 4 days now, and they STILL are not running and approved.

I called customer support, and I was told it takes a few days for ad approvals. I don't ever recall waiting DAYS for ad approval.

Is more than a few days abnormal to wait for ad approval?

Text ads fire up right away, banners and other types have to be manually reviewed. Are your delayed ads banners?

No...regular text ads. Hmmmmm. I will call them again today.

Are these Search or Content ads?
