A client of mine is wanting heavy focus placed on her RSS subscriber numbers, she'd like to raise readership a great deal.

The obvious avenues are covered, those being top quality content, prominent placing and mention of the RSS feed and email subscription options etc.

Her readership growth rate is solid already and is increasing naturaly surprisingly well but this site is her only income, she needs to maximize everything, i'm hoping to hear some suggestions here.

How would you set up an adwords campaign that converts well into new subscribers?

- The landing page can be anything at all, even a sales pitch.
- The site is in the technology sector, where there is a ready number of RSS users already.
- The adwords campaign needs to promote RSS directly somehow.

I have some ideas but I'm sure someone has already used adwords to grow their readership before, how did you do it? or how would you do it?

edit: Fixed some typos Sorry but I can't fix the subject line typo.

Besides the AdWords it might be worth running an intro to RSS. I don't know the industry but perhaps alot of the existing visitors will not know what RSS is. Perhaps before you spend money you could try and get some of organics converted. Perhaps put an article / note in the newsletter if there is one.
