Logged in to my MCC this morning, and none of my client accounts are there!
It says:
Click on an account name to view the account and manage its campaigns.
But then it says:
There are currently no client accounts linked to this customer
AWA - please tell me this is a known issue and someone is working on it? I have at least 15 client accounts, some of which have been in there 4 years; it'll be difficult to find all the original account information.
Hmm, I can still get them with the AdWords Editor, it's just the console that's down. And logging in directly to one client account, I appear to still have access in their My Account section.
No fair giving me a heart attack before lunch!
That reminds me though, I want to send all this to support, but there doesn't appear to be a way to see customer id numbers in the adwords editor, or am I just not looking in the right place? I'll add that to the features list.
This couldn't have happened at a worse time; I have a client migrating to a brand new site with 2500 new urls this morning.
[/freakout]
What I did experience back in the past is to get kind of header only and some kind of excuse (try later or something like that).
I never experienced empty working MCC.
Also, I would expect support to pay more attention to things like that, not just giving 24h option.
No rep?
How about editor?
This prompts you to have all information stored somewhere (as much as you can), and to update it regularly.
I use password manager for that purpose. Besides passwords, you can store all kind of other information.
Still, I don’t have all current info about all accounts I manage. We always talk about backups when something crashes.
Sorry, I went bit over your query, but hope some folks will find it useful.
The editor works, as far as downloading and posting, but stats are never current in the editor. I have some major site changes going on over two clients, thousands of keywords, and no idea what is going on with them.
I just got off the phone with support, it's a "known technical issue" and they're "still investigating it." Meanwhile, it's been hours, and there is apparently absolutely no Plan B for this type of situation.
UNACCEPTABLE. These are *customers*.
Google owes me a bottle of Excedrin. At the very least.
