Making changes to ad groups or even destination url's is taking much longer than a) it should and b) it used to. I made a change that requires the ad/keyword to be reviewed before being able to be displayed in the top horizontal spots and it's taking 4+ hours to go back in those spots. And you lose the Google checkout icon during the process too. Get it together Google and please fix the logging out twice to logout issue.

Does anyone know if all ads are manually reviewed? If they're not, then what determines which ones are sent off for manual approval and which ones are fast-tracked?

Most of my ads begin appearing in the top spots within minutes, but some others (for the same domain) take days and days. I haven't been able to get a straight answer out of an AdWords rep as to why some take so much longer than others.

6 hours now and still nothing; still no Google checkout icons and ads still on the rightnav. You're slipping Google...what's going on? Why so many issues these days?

Would this assume single account?

Over the time, my impression (and my impression only) was that an account would “earn” some kind of trust and therefore be allowed to go through automatic approval process where ads would go through in minutes.

I know cases where brand new ad group would be in premium area in 2 minutes since its creation.

Ads in other, mainly new accounts, would “wait” on a side for quite a bit (days).

Not sure how it is right now, I haven’t created/changed anything I would check on.

If I’m any right, I like it that way. Trusted goes through until it gets abused or pulls up a flag.

That what you’re experiencing now, I hope it will go back to normal soon.

In my case, everything is in a single account. Same campaign, even.

No this is an account spending 2 million a year and has exited for 5+ years. What I complaining about does not happen often, but lately has been. Today being the worst I've seen in a long time. Google checkout icons don't need approval but disappear usually only briefly anytime a change is made to an ad or destination url. Today's/tonight's delays are
unbelievable/unacceptable.
