I work with a vendor that allows for conversion tracking but only on a pixel placement basis.

AdWords has provided me with the following code for conversion tracking (my numbers X'ed out):

<!-- Google Code for signup Conversion Page -->
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
<!--
var google_conversion_id = #*$!#*$!#*$!X;
var google_conversion_language = "en_US";
var google_conversion_format = "1";
var google_conversion_color = "666666";
if (1) {
var google_conversion_value = 1;
}
var google_conversion_label = "signup";
//-->
</script>
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion.js">
</script>
<noscript>
<img height=1 width=1 border=0 src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/#*$!#*$!#*$!X/imp.gif?value=1&label=signup&script=0">
</noscript>

If I simply provided them with this part of the code, would conversions track in AdWords?
<img height=1 width=1 border=0 src="http://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/#*$!#*$!#*$!X/imp.gif?value=1&label=signup&script=0">
