Adwords account mysteriously stopped showing ads

For some reason my adwords account this afternoon stopped showing ads. I log into google adwords, and i tried the tool and they said the ad was not showing. The campaign say everything and everything seems to be current but no ads are showing. Anyone know if this account is banned or what may be the cause, this account has been in use for 2 years and all I did yesterday was change my email address and there hasn't been any other changes. thank you

Maybe you should up the bidding price for your keywords? Are your ads compliant with TOS?

It happened to me on Friday, and my adds still are not showing and I think we are not alone. I see a lot of my competitors down too. I think the guys at google hq are going to wonder were all of the money went this weekend.

Periodically, accounts are under review. While going through that, they don’t show ads. Ad diagnostic tool gives strange reasons for not showing ads (like budged problems).

What is really happening and what are the criteria of that “review”, is it maybe that review is just an excuse for something that is not to be released to public, no clue.

Usually, it takes about two days or so to get ads start showing again.

That is our experience.

Same situation here, I've just submitted a request to Adwords support.

In my case this only affects english language ads, my german language ads are ok.

I called them and they said it will take a few days to investigate. WHy does it take this long? and why they can't say what the cause is? Shouldn't they know. Did I get banned or something

Still nothing, Adwords support didn't even bother to answer. I guess they are busy counting money or something. Our online ad budget is around EUR 200 per day, yet we are spending around EUR 25 at the moment.

Ok, after two more tries I've finally received info on the non-showing ads:

Apparently I used a word in the copy that is trademarked (no specifics, I know, but it's the ASCII codes 77 97 99) and the ads have simply been stopped after review without stating the reason in the control panel.
