That said, this is Google and expectations are set higher for them. You should probably send the AdWords team your feedback as they probably would like to investigate why your call fell through the cracks.

Are they really 7pm PST? I called tonight at 6:52pm PST entered my Customer ID and waited for 20 minutes with that "all representatives a re currently busy" before obviously realizing no one was going to answer the call from the phone queue. If 'closing time' is really 10 minutes before 7pm PST please respectfully start the automated message "our business hours are..." message 10 minutes early too - would save me time and aggravation!

Based on several years spent on the phone support team, I can say with some authority that you are not alone in calling support around that time. ;) On occasion, everyone on the phone team will end up being on a call at that hour - and 10 minutes is probably less than the average call time. (At least I know for a fact it was for me!)
In any case, my apology for your less than stellar experience, and please know that your feedback will be heard by a manager of the phone team.
