Is there a way I can have google not add the Gclid string to every click?

From [adwords.google.com...] :

To disable auto-tagging:

1. Log in to your AdWords account
2. Click the My Account tab and select User Preferences
3. In the Analytics section, click Edit
4. Deselect the Destination URL Auto-tagging checkbox
5. Click Save changes

If you're already logged in to Adwords, just click here [adwords.google.com] to go the auto-tagging selection page.
