taking my name in vien, how dare they!

i have just been doing my usual checks on the big g and i have just noticed that when i do search for my www.domainname.co.uk that some git related company has a adword sponsored result and there title is www.domainname.co.uk, thus trying to capture my traffic.
Is this allowed?

In my experience, if you ask - Google will help to prevent this type of behavior. While it's legitimate for others to bid on your URL as a 'keyword' (* there are restrictions in some countries), others using it in their ad text and misrepresenting themselves is universally disallowed.

I have reported it to google. I did make a call to the company concerned and they said they would look into it and get it removed and havent so lets hope take a very dim vew of this company and ban em
