just downloaded the new edition, hadn't used the old one in ages. just opened it and before anythign happened I got this error. Anyone seen this before?

I'm not sure if this can help you or not. But I know that when I downloaded the latest version of AE, I had to completely uninstall the old version. Then I was having some issue with access to this program. When installing, I believe the program asks you whether you want to give access to all users or just the current profile. I would give each of these choices a try and see if that helps.

I normally get this error, the first time I try and run new versions of adwords editor on windows 2003. Run it a second time, and it should start fine.
