Cant pay my adwords invoice with CC anymore?

I've been with adwords for 5 years, paid each time by credit card. now i have someone from google telling me my invoices are overdue, to send a check or a bank wire. Why should I? I've been doing this on credit cards the whole time. Those credit card rewards are nice...:)

What gives? No way google is making everyone change their payment...that must be a nightmare.

Doesn't make sense at all for them to force that out of the blue. Have you had invoices declined due to credit limit issues in the past? They're assuming a level of risk so I would only see them doing this if you've had some issues in the past with your card clearing.

We had that too but after talking with my Google Team, we were able to keep it on CC (and keep getting our AMEX points!), but we had to switch it to "credit card post-pay" which basically just means they charge the card every 30 days or when we hit our limit.

Ask your rep. Ours were really helpful with this.
