adwords regional versus national campaign

How do I not have both ads appear in the region?

Hi,
In regional campaign keyword Foundation Repair is adequate.

In national campaign, since I only work in one region, I would like to use keyword Foundation repair Milwaukee

What will stop both ads from appearing at the same time in the region?

So if someone enters the phrase foundation repair milwaukee, will both my regional and natonal ad appear?

I know that I can regionalize the national ad by including milwaukee in the ad copy.

what do I have to watch out for?

I know that i am missing a lot of people with only a regional campaign.

one more thought...
Since they keyword FOUNDATION REPAIR
is so powerful, I would really like to run that keyword in my national campaign, as I know that in general probably 50 times more people use the keyword FOUNDATION REPAIR than FOUNDATION REPAIR MILWAUKEE.

So when I have a national campaign with only the words FOUNDATION REPAIR, along with MILWAUKEE in the ad text, will I get beat up with a low click thru rate on my National campaign?

Just a suggestion, run two campaigns. One regional, one national. Google will chose the most appropriate ad in your local market for you.

Google rarely shows two ads from two campaings in the same account on one search results page. I say rarely because it does happen occasionaly but not for long.
