Tracking ROI for given ads

Can Google's Conversion Tracking do the job?

I've got Conversion Tracking set up in my AdWords account and while I'm getting Conversions, Cost/Conversion and other data I'd like to know the ROI for a given ad. For that to happen I guess Google would need to know the total revenue for a given conversion.

Can the standard AdWords tracking tools calculate ROI or do I need third party software?

Can't seem to find a direct answer to this question...

I know few things can be put as variables within your URL.

{keyword} is for your keywords, {creative} is for ads.

Now, I am not sure if that {creative} gets picked up by Google's Conversion tool (or Analytics).

Besides this, you can also get Google help you in determining if it was "search" or "content".
